Artistic Excellence from Our Seniors
Our Independent Study Art seniors are truly impressing us with their creativity. Check out the amazing ceramic pieces they're developing, including unique sun-inspired designs and textured bowls. It's inspiring to see their projects taking shape.
In-Depth Presentations
We had two excellent, engaging presentations today:
Students presented on proving the Earth is round, discussing topics like how observing "Changing Stars" when traveling north or south provides evidence of Earth's spherical shape. Great job explaining the complex concept.
Another group delivered an insightful presentation on the Historical Context & Impact on Health/Environment related to iron, demonstrating strong research skills and a deep understanding of the subject.
A big thank you to all the students for their hard work and dedication. Keep up the great work.

It looks and feels like fall outside, so the week started with soup! Thank you to the teachers who donated soup, and congratulations to Mrs. Wells for the winning recipe "Marry Me Chicken with Gnocchi." Mrs. Custis also receives special mention for bringing in a much-loved carrot cake.

Students are reporting their findings in AP world!

Look at all the awesome learning happening in our classrooms.
In Chemistry class, students were putting their knowledge to the test, reacting different chemicals and using their problem-solving skills to predict the resulting compounds. It's a hands-on way to understand chemical reactions.
Meanwhile, our English classes were focusing on key communication skills: building strong argumentative essays, mastering new vocabulary, and sharpening their critical eye through peer reviews.
