Three of our students, Addie Brinkman, Adrie Burge, and Robert Emmerich, were selected to participate in the Indiana Bandmasters Association (IBA) All-District Honor Band. The ensemble performed this past Sunday at Northview High School.

A ticket purchased on behalf of South Putnam MS/HS won the P.I.E. food drive raffle at the Putnam County Girls Basketball Tournament. We will be donating the 800 canned goods to area schools and food pantry to help distribute to Putnam County families.
Thank you to Linda Merkel, the P.I.E. Coalition and the project sponsors: Hendricks Regional Health, Keystone Cooperative, Putnam County Community Foundation and The Brazil Moose Lodge #780 (Moose Riders). Thank you also to Cloverdale High School P.I.E., Sonny Stoltz and JJ Wade for hosting the event this year.

Today marked the conclusion of our fall Captain's Leadership Program, during which student-athlete leaders met with Mr. Errett for eight early morning sessions. Throughout the program, these dedicated students explored what it truly means to lead - diving into topics such as purpose, responsibility, goals, values, mindsets, influence, attitude, accountability, navigating challenges and respect.
Their commitment to growing as leaders, both on and off the field, sets a powerful example for their teammates and peers. We are proud of these young leaders for putting in the time, energy and heart to develop their leadership skills this season! Thank you Mr. Errett for creating and leading this important program for our students!

In honor of Veterans Day, several 8th-grade students created informative displays highlighting the history and importance of Veterans Day and the branches of the armed services. Middle and high school students had the opportunity to visit the exhibits during WIN time to learn more and reflect on the contributions of our nation's veterans.
