St Louis PLC

This week, a passionate team of administrators and educators from across all South Putnam schools took time out of their well-deserved summer break to attend the PLC at Work® Institute in St. Louis.

The Professional Learning Communities (PLC) at Work® model is a globally recognized, research-based approach that fosters a collaborative culture among educators to ensure all students learn at high levels. At the institute, our team engaged in transformative learning experiences around:

  • Building and sustaining collaborative teacher teams,

  • Using data to drive instructional decisions,

  • Creating a results-oriented culture, and

  • Implementing interventions and extensions to support all learners.

These South Putnam educators exemplify our district’s commitment to one of our core beliefs: All staff and students learn at high levels.

Their investment in continuous professional growth reinforces our district’s focus on academic excellence, innovation, and culture — even in the summer months.

Please join us in celebrating this incredible team for living out our mission and modeling what lifelong learning truly looks like!
